Main stream media called it the biggest swindle in history of science medicine.
Dr.Scott Reuben, a former member of Pfizer Inc.'s speakers' bureau admitted he was falsifying his medical research papers. He accepted $75.000 grant from Pfizer to research the effectivness of pain medication CELEBREX. In this study no patiens were actually enrolled. This research suported the conclusion that CELEBREX was effective in helping patients who had recieved a particular type of knee surgery. All this study was published in the medical journal "Anesthesia & Analgesia". After this swindle journal had to retract some papers writen by Rueben, medical experts at the time said at least 21 journal articles by the Reuben appeared to be fabricated.Reuben was inventing his data for 13 years.
